King Edward VII important eight volume Control Collection extremely extensive and specialised.
One of perhaps the two most important control collections ever assembled.
It includes several unique items some of which were responsible for the catalogue entry.
The collection comprises – 189 complete bottom rows of twelve with control (19 of these are double rows of twenty-four).
Also 134 control blocks of six, 29 control blocks of four and 46 bottom rows with control containing three stamps, 3 control blocks of six with bottom rows, 8 block of four with bottom rows, 11 pairs with bottom row, 160 control strips of three and 66 control pairs and singles.
All items have been accurately plated.
Total of 646 items.
Although extremely extensive there is still room for more to be added.
